What Positions are available?

There are a number of opportunities in which you can provide service to the group. The following are descriptions of the service roles available, how long you are expected to remain in them and how to sign up

How To sign up for a service role:

  1. For the annual roles there is an election each year in November for the following year 

  2. For the monthly roles there is a separate sign-up sheet for each month - if you would like to volunteer for a role please email st.peters.nwpa@gmail.com

Description of service positions open to you 

1.    Annual Chair – Runs the monthly business meetings, makes sure there is a chair for each of the meetings
2.    Treasurer – Maintains a financial account for the group and produces monthly reports for each business meeting which details incomes and          expenditures. 
3.    Secretary – Maintains minutes of monthly meetings, maintains emails, announcements, bulletins, newsletters and flyers
4.    Technology Specialist – Maintains the zoom account, the laptop, tv, microphone and other technology devices used in meetings
5.    Intergroup Rep [IGR] – Represents needs of local group and intergroup meetings and reports back to group at monthly business meetings
6.    Alternative Intergroup Rep [aIGR] – Available when the IGR is unavailable for intergroup meetings and business meetings
7.    General Service Representative [GSR] – Represents the needs of the local group at District area meetings, GSR conferences and reports back to group at monthly business meetings
8.    Alternative GSR [aGSR] – Available when the GSR is unavailable for district or GSR meetings and business meetings
9.    Supplies Coordinator – Purchases supplies needed to support the group including literature, coins, coffee, tea etc
10.    Facilitator – Sets up the physical room at St Peters with TV, Computer, Microphone etc and ensures people sign contact sheet and are following CDC guidelines
